After the weighty and sometimes nearly oppressive energies of July, we can expect healing and regeneration. The energies of August may not feel much lighter, but we’ll have more room to breathe and expand. August offers us the opportunity to examine the lessons we’ve been seeing come up in June and July. By doing so, we can plan the next steps to take to re-create and regenerate aspects of our lives that have fallen into disrepair and/or cause us discomfort. We will have the greatest success in this planning if we improve our health and our overall way of living, especially using the Earth’s assistance, in the form of herbs/plants, crystals, its own geomagnetic energy, and other natural healing modalities (Reiki, for example).

Here’s a prayer to help us best use this month’s predominant energy to our advantage:

Dear Mother-Father God, dear Archangel Raphael, thank you for the gifts of this summer, for the knowledge and wisdom that have come to us through our experience. Thank you for the ability to examine our lives, to learn from our experiences, and to create new paths that will better serve us. Thank you for this message of regenerating our health and of reminding us of the bounties of the earth. Thank you, finally, for the bounties of the earth and for helping us to be aware in all moments of how we may work with the earth to heal ourselves and the earth on this new path we are creating, so that we may all regenerate: ourselves, the earth, and our fellow man and woman. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
