The Fox presents as what we most need to be on the lookout for in July. In the Gilded Reverie Lenormand, the Fox represents deception, trickery, and slyness. This can include double-speak and some people saying whatever they think will get them what they want, including what you want to hear. Of course, it can also be a reminder to us to guard against slyness, deception, and trickery—either intentional or not—on our own parts.

The Archangel Raphael Healing Oracle cards provide us guidance on how to best handle ourselves in this kind of energetic setting: approach the month with childlike innocence. Don’t trust everything you hear, but go into everything with a childlike sense of wonder, curiosity, and especially purity (of heart). Use this to see through to the heart of the matter; use your heart to see. We might be tempted to hear what we want to hear and to be drawn in by glib words, but we need to really look at the heart of things before we buy into anything we hear. Try to assess all aspects of the situation with the heart of the child.

This is a month with energy that we are probably best served to approach with caution and to feel our way through patiently and mindfully. The experience is going to be the lesson in July. There’s not a lot that our guides are going to be able to tell us to help us through the month, so it’s really up to us. We’ve gone through the equivalent of the driver’s education manual, and now it’s time for us to get out there and actually drive.
