Reading that quote a few weeks ago, I was disheartened. I was exhausted after months of working hard with what felt like nothing to show for it. For weeks, when I’ve asked, my guides have told me that I’m on the right path, everything is in the works, it’s all going to be just fine. But honestly, you can hear that only so many times without things changing in your life before you start to think you’re being handed a plate full of BS.

Finally, on Monday this week, things started to shift. We didn’t do anything differently, and our hard work didn’t suddenly start showering us with wealth, but probably a dozen little things happened, making our entire day wonderful in what felt a hundred little ways. Basically, the Universe (Spirit/our guides) was providing us synchronicities and serendipities to show us that we have been on the right path and that we finally made the necessary internal shift for our all of our planning to lead to fruition. For example:

• We went to a home improvement store, found everything we needed, on deep discount, and left having spent less than $10, despite having at least six items.
• We had lunch in a restaurant—our daughter (a finicky eater who usually exists on air) devoured an entire sandwich; our son, always noisy, was quiet. They were well-behaved, and my husband and I were able to simply relax for a long lunch (an hour or more—that’s an eternity when you have a five-year-old and a two-year old!).
• I opened my change purse (which is normally empty) to find several dollar bills in it.
• When we checked out at the grocery store, the bill was only 3/4 the total I was expecting, even though I write down the cost of everything we purchase and add it up before we check out, to ensure we aren’t over our budget.
• While checking out at the grocery store, I also discovered more dollar bills in my wallet, even though I almost never carry cash (two or three times a year, typically).
• Our son napped for the first time in days. (He’s two, so he’s a big cranky-pants when he doesn’t nap.)
• We got paid money that has been owed to us for several weeks.
• We were able to get everything we had on our “tax return wish list”—and then some…actually, and then a heck of a lot!
• A set of oracle cards that I’d ordered weeks ago finally arrived, and they are even better than I’d hoped.

There was even more, but those are the top of my mind.
