Well, it’s official! I’m a paraprofessional: a professional intuitive!
Part of my training through Slade Roberson’s Automatic Intuition course was to do some practice readings. I was nervous at first, still thinking, I can’t do THAT! I’m an editor, for pity’s sake!
Then I did my first reading, and I was hooked.
So few things in my life have ever felt so right as putting the finishing touches on that first report and hitting “Send.”
The next few readings went just the same.
Every reading brought some new experience that was challenging and fun.
Every time I decided to try a different style of reading, I’d try to put it off, figuring I’d “ease into it” (read: never get around to it). But my guides had other plans. They would wake me up the day before I planned to try the new style, and they would insist that I do a reading—no ifs, ands, or buts.
And guess what? That reading just flowed in the form of the style I was “planning to try.” No easing in, no talking myself up, and no talking myself out of it, telling myself that I wasn’t yet prepared enough. A divine kick in the pants!
It seems my divine team has gotten tired of waiting for me to get on my path.
I’ve been revising the draft of my book, and in the process, I’m reading journal entries from 2009 and 2010 that make it abundantly clear that the guides been trying to get me on this professional-intuitive track for years.
I am home, y’all. This is what I’m meant to be doing. Will you keep hanging out with me? I think it’s going to be a lot of fun.
